Quebec City

I thought this National sign would be good for the National Tour. Big old factory, rusting by the side of a Quebec City road. Of course my National is not rusting, or sitting on the side of a road. We're on the road, and the GPS is showing me innovative new routes around town. It's a great tool— but it's not smart. I don't play chess with a computer, but I do play an ongoing game with the GPS. Sometime I win and sometimes it does. I know this town pretty well, but today the GPS has won and we take the silly route... Damn!

Looking alright so far. Hi.

I'm in Beauport, a little, working class suburb just downstream from Quebec City. From the heights here you can look up to the old city in the distance, and you can see the lights of Levis across the river. There are still big ships moving on the waterway. The St. Lawrence is quite a river. I'll be seeing more of it over the next couple of weeks.
